PETA Brings Controversial Ad
to Life
PETA members all over the country have been exposing the naked truth
about animal suffering in circuses in cities where Ringling Bros.
and Barnum & Bailey is traveling. Under a banner reading, "Wild
Animals Don't Belong Behind Bars," the activists, with their
nude bodies painted to look like exotic tigers, are confined to a
cage in order to mimic the living conditions of animals in the circus.
Cages, chains, and boxcars are part and parcel of life for circus
animals and in no way resemble animals' normal and natural habitats.
The colorful demos have brought scores of people to the Web site every
time.
